ABOUT THE BRAND
AHD is a luxury furniture company made up of five brands featuring hand crafted products made from unique materials: Made Goods (the flagship furniture brand); Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories); Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products); Burton James (luxury fabric and upholstery) and Thucassi (artisanal candles and fragrances). The goal is always to represent approachable luxury. The main target audience consists of high end interior designers.

THE PROCESS
My process begins after being introduced to the products launching the following season. After viewing the new pieces I sort the items in to themes to begin creating mood boards. I research current trends and source inspiration to create a story. My mood boards often include things like textures, materials, colors and images to give shape to the final shots before the photographer even enters the room. With a complete structure and vision I am able to to give each aspect of production exactly the information they need, such as the shot location, shot theme, pieces going to be used, lighting direction, floral requirements and wall/ flooring. This insures that our warehouse team doesn’t need to guess at the set up, the stylist fully understands the intention of the shoot and photographer knows how and where the photos will be used.
