ABOUT THE BRAND
AHD is a luxury furniture company made up of five distinct brands, each bringing handcrafted products made from unique materials: Made Goods (furniture), Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories), Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products), Burton James (luxury fabric and upholstery), and Thucassi (artisanal candles and fragrances). Across all five, the goal is the same, approachable luxury that speaks directly to high-end interior designers and boutiques.
I worked on all marketing assets, art direction, web design, and catalog design, helping keep that approachable-luxury feel consistent across five very different brands.
Art Direction
THE PROCESS
My process starts as soon as I see the new pieces launching for the upcoming season. From there, I sort everything into themes and build mood boards, pulling in trends, textures, colors, and images to shape the story before a single photo is taken.
Once I have a clear vision, I map out every detail for the team, from shot locations and lighting to florals and set design. That way, the the PAs knows exactly how to set up, the stylist understands the intention behind each shot, and the photographer knows exactly what they're capturing and why.
